I'm sure a psychoanalyst would have a hey-day with explaining this modern phenomenon, but it doesn't change this reality. Whether it is materially richer lifestyles or global media interaction that are some of the cause and effects for parents truly afraid of losing their children's love, this fear tangibly impacts the raising of modern children.
